Madison Row is a partnership between two companies that combine real estate development expertise and a shared passion for village communities, Mayflower Companies, Inc. and JGB Properties, LLC.

Mayflower’s principal, Michael Dougherty, has extensive expertise meeting the real estate needs of the retail, restaurant and banking industries in Central New York.

He has successfully developed and leased several highly acclaimed retail properties in DeWitt, including the Mayflower Building on Bridge Street (currently home of Olum’s), a project for which he received the Town of DeWitt Planning Board’s Award for Excellence.

He is credited with bringing many new popular retail and restaurant concepts to the Syracuse market.

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) nominated him for an Award of Merit for Commercial Building Design for his Aspen Dental/Vitamin Shoppe building. He is honored to serve as a panelist for the AIA Central New York Chapter for architectural design review. 

JGB Properties LLC, established in 1999, is a real estate investment, development and brokerage firm headquartered in Syracuse, with expertise land use planning; commercial, residential, and mixed use property development; construction management; interior design and property management.

Since its founding, JGB has earned acclaim for a wide variety of exciting commercial and residential projects. 

These include the conversion and rehabilitation of an historic building in Liverpool into upscale apartments and a coffee shop; the development of The Red Mill Inn in Baldwinsville and the Hotel Clarence in Seneca Falls; and the planned development of single family homes in the heart of Cooperstown.
